In Sanctum · prerelease

MusicMaid with her wizard hat, frill, headphones and small apple

The features below describe the current build. MusicMaid is running in Sanctum; newer controls and private self-hosting trials still have their own release checks.

  • The recording you meant

Choose an artist, song or supported track link. The current build lets you review uncertain matches before adding them.

  • A shared queue

Keep the displayed order or, in the current build, let requesters take turns. Queue controls live in Discord.

  • Playlists worth keeping

Save a track or a queue for later. The current build also supports portable playlist export and import.

  • Video when it fits

For the selected YouTube recording, Watch video opens an optional synchronized Activity. Voice audio continues independently.

MusicMaid in Discord

Join voice. Bring a track.

MusicMaid’s video page is an optional Discord viewer, not a standalone web music player.

  1. Join a Sanctum voice channel.
  2. Use /music to open the controls, then Add music. You can also use /play.
  3. Choose an artist and song or a supported track link. Select the recording you mean, then listen together.
  4. For an eligible YouTube track, Watch video opens the optional Discord Activity while audio stays in voice.

For your own community

The first outside installations are private self-hosting trials. You bring your own Discord application, host and source accounts. Ask about a trial if you would like to help test it; public distribution is still being prepared.
